Application Process

Prospective fellows must first register with the National Resident Matching Program by September 30th. Select the current NRMP year option and then follow the registration instructions.

To apply, submit the following documents using the IPFAS (IP Fellowship Application System) on the AIPPD website.

  • Three (3) letters of recommendation attesting to excellent clinical skills, teaching, and ability to work with others.

  • CV

  • Personal Statement/Letter of Intent

  • Procedure Log

  • USMLE Scores

 

Application Requirements

To be eligible for the USC/LA General Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship, physicians must have:

· Completed an accredited pulmonary and critical care fellowship and be board-eligible or certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine .

· Excellent skills in flexible bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and pleural procedures.

· U.S. citizenship or permanent residency & able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of California
