Letter from the Program Director


On behalf of the Interventional Pulmonology (IP) Fellowship Program at USC, it is my privilege to welcome and introduce you to our program. Our faculty are dedicated and committed to mentoring for long term success built on a foundation of a rigorous and comprehensive training experience.

Our goal is to prepare you with the skillset necessary to succeed in all facets of your career including clinical excellence, research, education and leadership. This of course includes robust comprehensive clinical training incorporating advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for malignant, benign and transplant associated conditions of the airways, lungs and pleura in the outpatient and inpatient settings as well as in the ICU. The academic ecosystem of USC provides a rich environment for collaboration with ample opportunity for meaningful engagement in research, educational programs and professional development.
